Fifth Grade- Building Sculptures

Creating sculptures can be a fun adventure. Fifth graders have discovered that using everyday objects like toothpicks can be a challenging and interesting material to use in the creation of a sculpture.

Students have learned about the artist Steven Bachman who is famous for his realistic and abstract toothpick sculptures. Here is a photo of one student's developing  sticky project.
